Hello, I have the following error when compiling snap75 firmware, using the latest version of qmk on Bit-C pro: The command I am running is: qmk compile -kb nullbitsco/snap -km default -e CONVERT_TO=bit_c_pro ...

I am looking at the snap, just wondering, does the PCB support using RGB switches, or am I limited to RGB Underglow below the PCB

Anyone know how long support usually takes to reply via email? My wife bought me a Snap 75 kit for christmas. I just started the build and noticed that they included two left side acrylic spacers instead of a left and a right...

I'm getting compiler errors when trying to build the latest QMK for the Snap on the Bit-C Pro (RP2040) ``` ./lib/chibios/os/hal/include/hal_serial.h:99:10: fatal error: hal_serial_lld.h: No such file or directory 99 | #include "hal_serial_lld.h"...

snowmanslick - My Snap TRRS cable doesn't seem ...

My Snap TRRS cable doesn't seem to be working? I'm building the Snap and just got to the point where everything but the keyswitches are soldered in, and the guide tells me to test the board w/ Via's key matrix. Each half of the board seems OK. The LEDs are fine. But if I connect the two halves over TRRS and then to the computer, the LEDs on the side not plugged into USB light up, but shorting the keyswitch pins doesn't register any key presses. I did a continuity check w/ my multimeter on the TRRS jacks. There's continuity between the TRRS cable and the solder pad on the PCB for each pin. One thing I find strange is that the jack furthest away from the microcontroller has the two middle rings of their jacks shorted together. This is true for both halves of the board. Is this expected? I tried looking for a schematic of the Snap, but can't seem to find one....
Solution:
You have to use the TRS jacks in the middle of the board away from the controllers, those are the only ones that will for connecting the two halves. The other TRS jacks are for connecting a tidbit. This is mentioned in the doc somewhere but it's not super obvious. So good news, it sounds like everything is working perfectly!...

Hi there! I'm trying to build a Snap75 and I'm on step 12 at the moment. Both MCUs are working fine. I'm in VIA using the test matrix as recommended ...
Solution:
If it's random it's probably an intermittent short on the IC itself, not a key. I would start reflowing things all over the place until they all looked perfect. Use flux and get those joints looking textbook. Pictures of your solder joints, especially the MCUs and ICs would help.

I was wondering if it's possible to program the Bit C Pro as a HID device. I have a Pro Micro that I'm using right now with the Arduino keyboard library to execute keystrokes and I was wondering if the Bit C Pro can be used in the same way with the Arduino IDE

Hello, I am having a problem where if I plug in the micro to the right half only half of the LEDs light up, if I plug into the left half all the LEDs light up. But when testing the keys the right half of the keyboard doesn't work. When plugged into the right side nothing works

Hi, is there a way to order a replacement pcb for the snap75? I messed up on the IC socket and I believe it's beyond salvageable now.

Someone - Snap Keyboard is not working - well o...

Snap Keyboard is not working - well only half of it works at one time. When using the cable only the side that has the USB C plugged in works. The right side of the keyboard works after a bit of time only when disconnected from the left side. The LEDS on the right side are working. The left side LEDs are not, but can type on that side when plugged in directly with a usb-c cable...

ZeroThePrototype - Hello all! Love the discord ...

Hello all! Love the discord and the cool projects yall have. I'm building tidbit specifically to learn basic solder skills and keep moving forward. Looking at the solder guide and reading all the way through the guide helped me understand that I had too much solder on the led pads. I removed enough from the top and bottom led outside edges that the acrylic spacer sits flush on the board. So that was very educational both in heat control and using desoldrr wick for the first time. Is it strongly recommended that I reduce the solder amoint on the rest of the joints as well? ...
