Skoknor - hey folks, I'm in the middle of a nib...

hey folks, I'm in the middle of a nibble65 build and have soldered everything in, underglow LED's are all glowing red and the big LED is lit blue. At current I have the oled_bongocat flashed and have rerouted the OLED with Kynar but can't get it to respond, have tried flashing and reflashing with different firm but nothing's changed, if I mess with the wiring on the OLED too much the whole board disconnects and LED's go out. me lost help pls 😦...
Solution:
First, send pics. Second, what's Kynar? Third, if messing with things causes the LEDs to go out, it sounds like there's a short somewhere and the wiring to the OLED is bad.

hey everyone. just completed the snap75 build this weelend and i love the keyboard. I used the snap_via.hex file from github, but I am struggling with getting the oleds to work and the underglow leds to have any other color than red. The keyboard works otherwise (typing on it now). I have never used QMK before so this is kind of new territory for me. Any pointers? Thank you!

Anyone know what the rotary encoder pins are supposed to be set to in config.h for the Snap? The instructions say, "Check that the A and B pins are set in QMK config.h and that ENCODER_ENABLE = yes in QMK rules.mk." but it doesn't say what they're supposed to be set to. I have no idea which pins these hook up to...
Solution:
For what it's worth, I figured this out by looking at the old github repo: https://github.com/nullbitsco/snap/blob/main/config.h

Hello everybody. I soldered all the diodes etc. After testing I found 2 rows that don't work at all. Can anyone tell me which pin on ic2 I should check (I'm pretty sure about these pins)

I installed encoders on both sides of my Snap - I'm looking through the qmk config and documentation to figure out how to enable them. The button press works fine, but the rotary part does not

@jay | nullbits I wanted to check on two things with the Holly, thanks! 1. I got the Holly macropad and it is so loud. Other users are reporting that theirs makes no noise. Can you confirm if maybe this one is defective since it is noisy? 2. Was the code base ever fixed to build outside of linux?...

Ash - Hi all. I built my snap 75 over a year ag...

Hi all. I built my snap 75 over a year ago and have had no issues until recently. If I have just the right side of the board plugged in, it works and will turn on. But if I connect the left side in any way, TRRS or simply pushed together, the right side loses connection. Plugging in the left side of the board will not even power it on. I can usually fix this by jostling around the cables for a while but I don't really know what the "fix" is. I'm getting very frustrated with this and even now my keyboard isn't functioning properly. Anyone have any advice?...

Anyone know how long support usually takes to reply via email? My wife bought me a Snap 75 kit for christmas. I just started the build and noticed that they included two left side acrylic spacers instead of a left and a right...

I'm getting compiler errors when trying to build the latest QMK for the Snap on the Bit-C Pro (RP2040) ``` ./lib/chibios/os/hal/include/hal_serial.h:99:10: fatal error: hal_serial_lld.h: No such file or directory 99 | #include "hal_serial_lld.h"...

snowmanslick - My Snap TRRS cable doesn't seem ...

My Snap TRRS cable doesn't seem to be working? I'm building the Snap and just got to the point where everything but the keyswitches are soldered in, and the guide tells me to test the board w/ Via's key matrix. Each half of the board seems OK. The LEDs are fine. But if I connect the two halves over TRRS and then to the computer, the LEDs on the side not plugged into USB light up, but shorting the keyswitch pins doesn't register any key presses. I did a continuity check w/ my multimeter on the TRRS jacks. There's continuity between the TRRS cable and the solder pad on the PCB for each pin. One thing I find strange is that the jack furthest away from the microcontroller has the two middle rings of their jacks shorted together. This is true for both halves of the board. Is this expected? I tried looking for a schematic of the Snap, but can't seem to find one....
Solution:
You have to use the TRS jacks in the middle of the board away from the controllers, those are the only ones that will for connecting the two halves. The other TRS jacks are for connecting a tidbit. This is mentioned in the doc somewhere but it's not super obvious. So good news, it sounds like everything is working perfectly!...
