How to stop the creation of new characters in an existing save?

When I login in to my world, it spawns a new character, i have gone and killed the old character and stored all the item. Plus in the main menu of the game, it wont pop up with you are online, what should I do??

mod manager see two installs

hello my mod manager see two installs of satisfactory and says they don't exists all so i have posted the debug info as well hope this helps

1.0 Released and it wont even load SMM

It says that 2 satisfactory installs were found but all of them point to folders that dont exist. debug info attached

[Vanilla-BUG] Consistent Crashing on New or Continued Games on 1.0 Update.

Solution:

Switching to Depracated DX11 Seems to resovle this issue for now

The SMM found 2 directories and one of them actually leads somewhere but it doesn't think that

Unable to downgrade (always attempts to update)

After following the downgrading instructions, launching it always starts the update process. I've made sure to change the manifest files with the 1.0 ones but it's still unable to launch without updating, this happens both when launching from steam and sml. wondering if there's any steps not included in the guide...

Solution:

make sure you have made a shortcut to correct exe file and use the correct command for platform - epicportal for epic version, -nosteamclient for steam version

weird Error

i just launched SMM and it gave me a weird error but even when i follwoed the steps mentioned in the background where it said to go into the game files and delete a folder called "mods" i could find it... the foulder doesnt exist but SMM still says it does. and at the end its also saying i have 2 folder named the exact same whilst there is only one in steamapps
