Need advice for reworking my group project?

This is a Digital Wallet that is similar to any other digital wallet but it allows people to track their spending and look at their transaction more clearly. Creative Borders Help
I need some help in creating a very creative sale tag. I have tried multiple options, but none of them have worked so far.
This inside-circle shape has caused me a big headache and I don't have a good idea on how to fix it. The biggest problem is that the background is an image, and this tag is used in multiple places.
Couple somebody please nudge me in the right direction?...
What is your take on the gray color?
I generated gray shades, to me it looks cool but I am not sure about it from an expert designer. I just want something new, I am overusing the gray shades of Tailwind

Feedback/advise for my stepped progress bar
I'm building a tool that has assignments and I want to indicate what step in the assignment the user is on with a stepped progress bar. I designed the progress bar like this with the idea that an assignment will probably have around 3 to 5 steps, but what if there are more steps in some rare occasion... If there are more than 5 steps the progress bar gets too full and it doesn't look good.
What can I do with this progress bar when there are too many steps?
I was thinking about doing the pagination thing where you put the ... in some of the steps but any other ideas would be appreciated....
