What Redstone contraptions should be allowed?

I'm wondering what redstone contraptons I should allow players to have. A player recently showed me one he was proud of, but I could already forsee it causing significant lag issues at scale. We have a rule against auto farms, however he claims "It's not a farm, its a complicated brewing stand" so I'm just wanting another opinion on what others allow / disallow to prevent lag...

Rn i am hosting a fabric server as a single player so i can allocate more ram to it and get better fps/tps when playing and afk without having an instance loaded but i am struggling to reach my tps goal of ~4 rn 85% of my tps is from spawning and i am using mods like lithium and ferritcore, are there any mods or things people advise? for reference the server is on a 12400f with 12gigs of ddr4 3200mhz ram allocated and 16 view/sim distance

Issue was too many mods and meh pc im gonna clean out the folders and it should run fine and fun
Does anyone know any plugins that add item rarity with chances?
I need a plugin where if I kill a player it has a chance to drop a different items at different rarities, does anyone know if there is such plugins?

New Players Teleported to Wrong World
Our main world is a Towny world. The default world is currently unused. We have a lobby where new players go for the first time. I put a FancyNPC in there who executes a command as op to send people to the Towny World. No matter what command I use (/mvtp or /pw Welcome!), new players keep getting teleported to the default world instead. Anyone have any idea why? I think I'm losing players because of it. Do you guys even use a lobby in a multiverse server?

Is default spawn-protection any good?
I wanted to ask if it is any good to use the default spawn-prorection radius in server.properties to protect my spawn in a small server, without installing WE and WG to protect that region.
Does it block mob griefing? Does it stop players from opening/closing trapdoors, ore use windcharges do do that?
Or is it just trash and I should use something else instead?...

How can i make it that - the [AFK] status will appear on beside of name of Helper and other staff groups in the TAB , Whenever they go afk and also this should not show for normal users , only for staffs. ?
proxy server can't shut down
Everytime I try to restart or stop my proxy server it just comes to: server marked as stopping.... Shutting down the proxy... and nothing else happens but sometimes it actually works. I tried to restart it without any plugins and it still didn't work. I use Velocity CTD I asked there but no one responded so I figured someone from AdminCraft may have a solution.
Please help me figure out the source of TPS loss on the server.

The server is running off a oracle free ampere VM. Not sure what cpu they are using but it has a lot of ram allocated. We are running ledger, akashi's fast minecarts, lithium, geyser/floodgate, ferritecore, viafabric, spark. Datapacks include vanilla tweaks.
Sync chunk writes is off and the render/view distance are both 12.

As an Easter event for my players, I'm trying to create a pair of custom boots that completely negate fall damage when equipped. I tried just enchanting with Feather Falling 255 but that doesn't completely negate fall damage. Is it possible to do this with Vanilla Minecraft?
