respawned in a place where chunks were invisible and now i can't log back into the server, can anyon

Heya everyone! i play in a minecraft host server (modded, 1.18.2) but today when i was playing i ended up dying in-game and when i clicked to respawn i respawned at a common place but there was no chunks and i was stuck there, so i logged out of the server and when i tried to log in it takes ages to load and i get this error, any idea on how i can solve this? Because i've already restarted my wifi and it's not an internet problem, i also tried to see if i could log in the world to get teleported...

Running 1.7.10 and 1.20 server at the same time

I run a public 1.7.10 modded server, but I also want to setup a private 1.20 server on the same computer. How do I have them run at the same time when they require different Java versions?

process for upgrading server when you have plugins

Hi folks, New server admin here. I am running a 1.20.1 paper server with a number of standard/nonstandard plugins. 1.20.2 was just released and I generally like the idea of upgrading when I can. Are plugins usually ok when you go between minor releases? I saw this version of Minecraft has some networking changes so I’m hesitant to bump the server version until I have verified that my plugins work or have upgraded to the newest version....

I cant figure out how to make a custom 3D resourcepack

Hi, im new to making servers and stuff and im trying to figure this out, i tried 10 youtube tutorials and i still cant figure it out. Im trying to make 3D swords etc. but it just doesnt work for me or i dont understand it. Can someone help me?

Server using more RAM than intended

The server has been using a lot of RAM unnecessarily,, used Spark plugin to find what is wrong, Well I have the text about what is wrong but I don't clearly understand what is the problem here.

Is my server using reasonable amounts of memory, or is something wrong?

I'm hosting a modded server for some friends (1.19.2, Forge, ~60 mods including libraries and very small QOL stuff, ~15 "big" mods). Currently, the server uses 4 - 5 GB of memory if nobody is online, and 7 - 8 GB if one to four people are online. Since my server only has 8GB of RAM, this leads to frequent crashes. Is this amount of memory usage reasonable for such a server, or should I start looking for a problem like a memory leak caused by some mod?...

Self-hosting hardware sufficient?

I want to set up a server for 7-10 friends. I've run one before from my current PC for fewer people, but now I want to get a separate computer for it and I'm looking secondhand for lower cost. Any Bedrock Compatible Dupe Detection Plugins Available?

Hello, we have recently started catching many bedrock players using shulker dupes and other dupes, and since all the anti-cheat plugin's I have installed completely ignore floodgate players, bedrock players do not get stopped from duping or hacking. Is there any dupe detection plugins that are bedrock compatible? Could be free or premium, thanks!

Is Screen a bad option for ubuntu MC servers?

I'm trying to move my minecraft beta server to docker or screen so that I can access it through ssh. I'm having issues with Docker because all of the tutorials seem to generate entirely new server files. I'm not sure where but I believe I've heard people advise against using Screen for this. Thoughts?

How to self host a small minecraft server

It would be a server for at most 10 people at a time. My usual method is to use Radmin but it has a 5 person limit. It's also difficult to search for that on the internet as it could be malware or it doesn't tell me the price until I'm done with setting up their stuff.

I need help setting up a server with EnviroMC

My brother is trying to set up a server with EnviroMC but he is lost and we both dont seem to know how to do it. We both have very little experience setting up minecraft servers. So I was just curious to see if somebody could help me and my brother out. (For more information we are trying to set it up with the mod pack Roguelike Adventure and Dungeons 2 and its planned to be used for only 3 or so people. The server is a budget server.

Oracle Cloud server refusing my key

I'm using the same key than yesterday but it doesn't work anymore, here's the error message : Permission denied (publickey,gssapi-keyex,gssapi-with-mic) I haven't changed anything from yesterday, other than restarting my computer two times, and i've tried to login with powershell and bitvise but it does not change anything....
