ASA Servers changing ID?

If I favorite or keep a tab open for our ASA server -- for example at URL https://battlemetrics.com/servers/arksa/24702271 and which should be called "BlinkBlinkGames" -- after a few hours/days that favorite/link now points to a different server and I have to re-find and re-favorite the original server

How long does it take for an Enshrouded server to show up in the server list?

I've had a server online the last few hours, and other hosting sites are picking up that my server is online, just want to ensure my server/config is good with BM picking it up.

Palworld Server Listing Duplicates

Battlemetrics keeps adding listings to my Palworld server (name: Paladia Vanilla+ | EU) that I'm hosting on a dedicated machine, using linuxgsm. How can I stop this? Nothing weird is happening my end. Normal restarts, server isn't wiping. IP address isn't changing from eu.paladia.co:2811, etc Any ideas?...

Palworld incorrect connection port displayed on server info

Have no access to battlemetrics

Hi! My IP 185.223.124.16 was banned by the server. I have no a white address and my provider use this. Can you unban my IP? It's not comfortable to use proxies every time.

Experiment for querying my server

Hey there, I'm interested in directly querying information about my palworld server and other palworld servers. I saw that battle metrics was able to query palworld servers so hopefully y'all can help me out here for a personal experiment of mine 🙂 Is battle metrics by chance using the steam web api to query the server information? e.g. something like https://api.steampowered.com/IGameServersService/GetServerList/v1/?filter=\appid\1623730&limit=100 (with the API key included). I didn't have any luck with this myself, no matter what I put for the app ID. sorry if this is totally abusing the support forum but a nudge in the right direction would be appreciated....

Palworld Rcon connection issue

I have 2 different servers, One of them is running fine, however the second one seems to drop connection to rcon after a short time. If i login to the in-game, it kind of can connect, but drops. Not exactly sure what the issue is with my server, where the second one is perfectly fine, but on a seperate box.

Solution:

I'm pretty sure the games load is causing the connection issue over rcon, as it seems to only occur after about 20 players join in and server begins to get loaded

Server no longer responds to query

For some reason, the servers are no longer responding to queries on the website. They were all day yesterday up until about a few hours ago. They are all still online, we can still connect but show offline on the site. Nothing has changed between now and then. ...

Unable to Share a Particular Ban List?

@Hunting Season To have BM staff review, you will need to connect your server to BM RCON & Send a email to them on [email protected] This is so they can obtain accurate data direct off server for a few days to verify....

Just seeing if anyone can help me with this RCON thing. Do I need this port forwarded as well?

Solution:

Telnet, SSH, RDP, SFTP, FTP, RCON all can be accessed internally without having to do anything with the firewall(modem/router) however your setup is. Now, depending on what you are trying to do and where you are trying to do it from. You may need to create firewall rules on the computer itself to allow certain inbound/outbound traffic....

Minimum Level Requirement - Hell Let Loose

How can I assign a minimum level requirement for Squad Leads and Commanders in Hell Let Loose?

Solution:

This isn't really doable. The closest you could get is a Player Update trigger, which only runs every 60 or more seconds, then add two conditions, one to see if they are an Officer or Commander and the other to see if they do not meet the level threshold. Then, either you can message, punish (admin-kill), or kick them from the server. The game does not provide an option to disband or kick from squads.

I was able to update ports earlier and it connected successfully but is now saying unable.

We changed ports with the same IP then I updated BM and everything went fine. After a few moments I saw the error message "The server is not online" on my dashboard and no matter how many time I try to connect it just doesn't anymore. Server ID: 24934044...

Solution:

It seems like the issues was setting the IP in rcon.cfg file to our ip instead of 0.0.0.0, reverting it back to 0.0.0.0 solved the issued.
