How many keepers do I need?
When it comes to walkthrough exhibits like the bats and butterfly's. I personally use for my butterflys 3 walkthroughs, 45males 45females per walkthrough then have it on auto management and sell the oldest butterfly's automaticly. 3 of these walkthroughs is almost a sure thing that with the auto sell will max out at 13.5k per species yearly. 1 zookeeper per species / 3 walkthroughs. I guess it might apply to the bats aswell, 1 zookeeper 3 walkthroughs, the amount of bats that can go into a walkthrough no clue. Each butterfly species has its own workzone to keep it simple. This is also an area where guests dont need to go, it can be a selfsufficient area which is just there to give that extra little bit of cash income yearly

I use 2 zookeepers max lv for 38 exhibits and if those 2 cant keep up i hire a 3rd

In a franchise i would advice to work on a steady cash income flow through exhibits ( limit guests to 500 ), you'll need a few security guards, a maintenance worker and a zookeeper ( 1 per 6 exhibits ). While working on your cash income flow hire another maintenance worker and 1 or 2 veterinarians --> do research with these. The research will carry over to other zoo's in your franchise. Good luck

Exhibits -- > eastern brown snake / puff adder --> 2 male 3 females --> sell the offspring manually ---> easy cash would be my suggestion

Another option to do could be a complete reinstall pherhaps ? ( move the save files of the zoo's to a different map, place them back after a reinstall ).

Depending on dlc's butterfly's do well on autosell, eastern brown snake / puff adder do excellent aswell selling manually. I have a screenshot somewhere of an exhibit area with 38 exhibits, 2 zookeepers and a maintenance worker to keep it all going. In a way its self sufficient, 2 male 3 female snakes ( eastern brown / puff adder ) per exhibit. The have loads of offspring. Lowest of age go to the storage. If all goes to plan the exhibits should always have a pair of snakes in them. Only have to sell them manually as that gives way more cash then the autosell option per year. A franchise Zoo doesnt need guest, guest just bring extra cashflow to the zoo's.

U could play in franchise with a limit of 500 guests. Make within the franchise zoo's that are species/continent/biome specific. Gives the oppertunity to make habitats for max size groups of animals. U can play franchise wihtout any fear not just sandbox.

keepers not feeding my animals
In my opinion, always calculate offspring aswell for habitat size. And then consider another 5 - 10% extra ( for tree's and rocks that take away space )
