Shoe construction isn't defined by how the outsole is attached. Plenty of gyw, blake and stichdown boots just have a glued on outsole. The construction refers to how the upper, insole and midsole are kept together.

pretty common dyeing technique. They use mostly natural dyes. Even indigo, which is usually $$$ when Japan does it
