dont pay it, its wrong, just wait for the team response. but if you're in a hurry and dont mind the 5$, paying that invoice will probably solve your case for now

Railway imposes some requirements to prevent abuse, we don't have access to those requirements so unfortunately you'll stay unverified. One of those requirements that we know is that new Github account arent allowed (there's more requirements than that)

Getting a postgres error I don't recognise

there's no error, thats just Railway showing the logs as "errors" or postgres sending logs in wrong level

yeah your solution might be better if you just need to do that a few times a day and the data you're feeding doesnt scale
