Your normal size should be fine. It's a little bit standard fitting. I normally wear XL in their loose gilets & waistcoats, but I ordered a 2XL for a looser fit. The photographers gilet also has fasteners so you can tighten the waist if you want.

Same. I have 3 pairs of Michaels (whiskey, marron and black) now and Paraboots are really the main shoes in my rotation. I do wish they made a maple suede Michael though
