Blank Screen w/Dummy Plug
For anyone coming back to this down the road, the answer is yes I was overthinking. If my TV is not on it loads to the dummy plug after I made this change.

Yes, and while I didn't find this when I looked (was skimming) I maybe should have specified, this will clearly help me define the appropriate input, but will it fall back to the dummy plug if the TV isn't available?
