Well that changes a lot, i can recommend this, but only if you have sufficient bandwidth for updates as they can be quite heavy

I would recommend building your own images if you have more than one server, so you only have to do things once. But if you only have one server it is probably more work maintaining your image than just using ucore and changing a few things

Thats only for defaults and not used settings i think. Most user kde settings are in ~/.config

for example, the way i set the background is by adding a wallpaper, then refernecing that from the look and feel, then referencing the look and feel in the defaults. that feels really weird to me but i could not find any other way except running a script that does it at runtime

What does the uBlue Kinoite image come with by default?

Do remember that updates are going to take a while then, containers are a bit more chunky than the classical package manager updates
