Outlook Email Integration
You address two different issues:
(1) Create contacts based on e-mails: Doubtful this is a sought-after demand. As the complete company and contact records cannot be completely filled from the content of an e-mail, I'm not seeing the point of using such functionality.
(2) Easily file incoming and outgoing e-mails under the company and contact: Such function is really the entire point of having an CRM application as e-mail in still the most important written communication channel in business and industry. A CRM application will need to ingest e-mail communication from any of the major e-mail infrastructures used by enterprises. As these number in the hundreds, a CRM application will usually also have its own ingest e-mail box to which users can forward e-mails for filing under companies and contacts.
Where do you currently stand regarding both of these issues?
