Are suede chelsea boots still ok to buy/wear?
These would be mostly for somewhat fancier hotel bar gigs. Rarely do we do a private party thats business casual but when thats the case its always a pain.
At these shows people (audience) will be dressed up a little. Maybe some sport jackets but nothing too wild, sometimes jeans sometimes not.

Thank you, for the advice so far. Honestly I cannot do slim shoes anyway since my feet are wider. I have plantar fasciitis so its difficult to have comfortable shoes that look nice, especially when standing for hours, and I had heard these were very comfortable and a bit wider than most.
The only boots I have that really feel comfortable are Alden boots and even they can be getting there by the end of a gig, but they are much more comfortable than any other boot I have ever had and I had heard the shape of these were somewhat similar to the trublance last on the Aldens.
Cant really go up in price at this point, my job is kind of boom or bust and spring wasnt very good.
