Need help picking a suit for my wedding.
Ok, so I am not trying to break the bank here purchasing a suit but I also don’t want to spend several hundred dollars on a suit that is going to only last me a couple of years. I stumbled upon the subreddit looking at old posts talking about lot about materials, and hate for MW, which slightly overwhelmed me. I’m getting married a little before starting new full time job so I have some savings but I’m hoping to avoid spending over $500 for a suit, and the color is going to be navy/blue. I won’t wear this suit every other day, probably once a month or so until my position makes me need a more permanent suit. My Dad is a big advocate for MW and the suits there look ok, in my opinion but I have no clue on actual quality. Does a suit being 70% over 100% wool really make any difference? The one I put on in store when I went with him was the Awearness Kenneth Cole chill flex slim fit. Now, I know this is ridiculous but I like the idea of a suit meant to keep me cooler cause I tend to feel hot when in my current suit. So, I guess long story short is this quality of suit going to last me a handful of years of minimal uses? Or is the quality likely to be so poor that after a year the suit wouldn’t be in a position to be worn anymore? I still need to purchase a shirt and other stuff so not going much higher than $500 for the suit itself is the goal.
