Coordinate compounds CFT
why does crystal field split even in case of like Sc3+,if there is no electron in the d orbital then there is no repulsion between ligand and metal in d orbital hence it should not split
AND
Since CFT is based on electrostatic interactions then how can it have shapes like octahedral or tetrahedral if I remember correctly ionic bonds don’t have shapes
