looking for a new pair of work boots for my brother
I’m hoping to get cowboy boot style, but here’s my checklist:
Goodyear welt
Full grain leather
Steel toe
Rubber outsole
Block heel
If anyone who wears cowboy work boots has any personal recommendations or realistic suggestions, then feel free. This is just my list from my research I did while at work 😅
I noticed his soles were cracking so I thought I’d look into it. They’re gonna be for working outside. I chose the block heel over a wedge because from what I saw the wedge is better for climbing and he won’t be doing that. He will be more or a terrain kind of thing. And I did rubber over leather outsole because I saw the water resistance is better. And of course the Goodyear, full grain, and steel toe speak for themselves.
As for price, I understand you pay for quality. I’m expecting to pay at least $200, but I can comfortably spend up to $500. Any more and I’ll have to budget for it 😂 but it’s doable. So I’m welcome to all price ranges

I need daily casual wear advice please
So I watched a video and it was along the lines of “…if you wear T-shirt’s with jeans and tennis shoes, you don’t wanna be that guy…” and I felt super called out 😂
I can’t go out and buy a bunch of clothes right now, but I want to come here and ask for some advice on cause wear. If I dress up too much, my wife gets upset because she feels out dressed or she thinks I’m looking for something 😓 I just wanna dress nice.
So what is a step below business casual, but isn’t just “tshirt and tennis shoes” because that’s all I have right now. I’ll shop later just coming here for what to shop for. I live in north Texas USA for weather inspiration. I know it’s hot, but I do not like wearing shorts if I can help it. I will, I just prefer jeans (or a different long pants if anyone knows any for hot weather)
