Another solution. It's been a few years, but IIRC a "Match" feature was added to sshd_config to let you control which users are prompted for passwords and which are not. See also "ForceCommand".

Another solution might be using an ssh-agent on the client. The ssh-agent environment variables would need to be set before running the client software.

I don't use a Satisfactory server, but SSH tunneling works for almost everything. You'd need to keep a ssh session running between the client and server and use the "-L" tunneling option on that ssh session. You'd tell the client to connect to localhost instead of to the server.

Actually... It's now crashing when launched from Steam too. Steam validation didn't detect anything. I'll try a reboot.

Thanks. I do power off my game machine every night, so perhaps this is indeed reboot related.
