Can't get mods to work on Linux
I tried getting the mods to work yesterday and ran into the same issues as you. I posted in the #modding🔨 channel and spoke with the Redloader developer, but their suggestion didn’t resolve it for me either. It looks like proper support for Linux isn’t planned due to low demand.
Hopefully, as the Steam Deck gains popularity, there might be a chance for better support down the line.
