Is it possible to access the same Volume from multiple project environments?

I would like to have a volume that is accessible to both Production and Dev environments so I dont have to duplicate image uploads. Is that possible?

strapi media storage

Are you not able to store any media on disk for the Strapi template? I am on the hobby plan.
