Chimeraos has been able to load the audio "firmware" over i2c, which just actually writes some registers so could be done in driver, but there's a regression that prevents reading/writing to i2c values on that bus atm

Ok so it's just a little quirk.
For speakers, apparently the amp is same family/specsheet as one already in linux tree so shouldn't be too much work
