vscode without distrobox
basically torch.compile doesn't work in distrobox even if I select non-distrobox python and i tested multiple distrobox distros and it always happens, so i need to install vscode outside of distrobox so is it possible to install non distrobox vscode and have it actually see my file system and conda environments unlike the flatpak version

flatpak-portal insane CPU usage
so I had this issue where my laptop was running slowly. But I brushed it off to pytorch running in background. But actually pytorch was running slowly too. So then one time when it was slow I was trying to open an image and it woudn't open. So I finally decided to take a look at my task manager, but it wouldn't open. So I typed btop into my terminal and saw flatpak-portal using 90-95% of my CPU, which never stopped until I rebooted, so it was doing that for at least 30 minutes. So that was the bug that I had and I am pretty sure I had it before when my system was slow. TLDR after a while flatpak-portal starts using all CPU and only reboot fixes it

how to prevent system update from updating arch distrobox
I only use it for trilliumnext-bin and mricrogl because idk how to install them on bazzite or my another fedora distrobox and I already had it break once after update and also it takes ages to update I just don't need the updates on it for just using 2 apps and I can update it manually like once per year, so is there a way that when I press system update, it will skip arch distrobox?

so I am facing the following issues number 1. gamemoderun %command% crashes number 2. image viewer becomes laggy after i use it (btw I can't copy from it so I have to wait ages for gimp to open or I have to take screenshot so if anyone knows a better image viewer let me know) number 3 starbound crashes on GPU. So i think my system has became outdated because I was putting off fixing this issue so I didnt update my system for a while, but now I have to update it. I tried moving to a completely different place and different wifi, that didn't fix it, and I tried connecting to my phones internet, that didn't fix it either. And the country I am in is one of the ones where they block VPNs so they probably blocked this "tailspace" but I think it should just skip it when I update bazzite so that it doesn't just completely cancel the update.

the thing is I don't have "tailgate" and I looked it up and its a VPN which is kinda crazy but I use a free one in my browser but maybe it downloaded a malware that tries to install tailgate?

distrobox.conf causes distroboxes to not launch after latest system update
I have a ublue-fedora-distrobox one and bazzite-arch one, and I just updated my system, and both are now saying this instead of launching:
Error: unknown flag: --env TRILIUM_DATA_DIR
See 'podman exec --help'
Error: unknown flag: --env TRILIUM_DATA_DIR
See 'podman exec --help'
This is what I have in my distrobox.conf
container_manager_additional_flags="--env TRILIUM_DATA_DIR=/var/mnt/ssd/Notes/Trilium"
container_manager_additional_flags="--env TRILIUM_DATA_DIR=/var/mnt/ssd/Notes/Trilium"
If I remove it they launch but now I can't set trillium-next data folder. This used to work before update

gnome tweaks keeps enabling alt+shift after reboot
I disabled it because it seems laggy (triggers every second time), although I like alt+shift to change keyboard layout, but it also makes it so that no other app can use alt+shift, like VSCode, google colab, etc, so I have to disable it. But it keeps reenabling itself after each reboot btw this happens on bluefin too

F Keys not working
basically my keyboard is stuck in Fn Lock. And I press Fn + Esc but it doesn't fix it. So I found a fix to type this into the terminal this is supposed to work after reboot but it doesn't
echo 'options hid_apple fnmode=0' | \
sudo tee -a /etc/modprobe.d/hid_apple.conf
echo 'options hid_apple fnmode=0' | \
sudo tee -a /etc/modprobe.d/hid_apple.conf
this one makes fixed it until reboot and I am using it right now
echo -n 0 | sudo tee /sys/module/hid_apple/parameters/fnmode
echo -n 0 | sudo tee /sys/module/hid_apple/parameters/fnmode
also if someone can confirm that those commands are not malware that would be appreciated. I asked an expert and he said this No, the command echo 'options hid_apple fnmode=0' | sudo tee -a /etc/modprobe.d/hid_apple.conf is not malware. It's a legitimate command used to configure the behavior of Apple keyboards on Linux systems. btw this happens on bluefin too

pytorch
alright I am just going to ask it. I have been really interested in mojo especially for ML but it seems that you need to know a lot of concepts to actually do it. So I understand how to make a struct in mojo. But do I actually need to implement a matrix struct from scratch? And matrix multiplication and so on? Or can I use the Tensor module, or do I use vector, or both? Or is there a built in type? Or do I import pytorch into my mojo code?
