Are these belt artifacts?
Sure, but if you want to publish the model without raw file the you need to preconfigure the refinement one time to get the STL files like we know it 😉

First Layer Problem

I've also tried a few, actually ... but the best results so far come from a Bambu Lab PTFE tube, 2.5–4 mm

If you're not using any abrasive material, it's probably due to a kink in the PTFE tube or because the cardboard spool doesn't unwind easily.

It looks to me like your tangle detection is reacting. That's what it looks like when I try to print with some really rough material that has a lot of friction in the PTFE tube.
That would also explain the partially stalling travel moves... it looks exactly like it does on my setup when that happens

Okay folks... After a bit of research in my config files I found that the two Y motors was running at different amps.... Dunno how it happened...
I reinstalled ratos because I did not get any access to the configuration tool...
So I fixed the main problem with corrected settings on the motors...

But I don’t understand the horizontal layer lines that only appear on the X-axis... especially since they are not present on the Y-axis, apart from the ghosting.

Ringing/ghosting might possibly be caused by excessive belt tension, right?
