We don’t display the Device ID. We are pre stable so we don’t really have a formal list of unused or deprecated fields You need to use updateASSET not assetS

You can set a device ID to whatever you want. I believe this data is planned to be removed in a later release

You also may have a failing storage device as a typical power loss shouldn’t cause this

Oh, this is on windows. Sorry, windows with external mounts can be really challenging. We do not recommend Windows for immich
