Was going to suggest Blue Owl, although I see it already got a mention 👍

Well as a bit of an update, I found this one: https://huckberry.com/store/flint-and-tinder/category/p/83226-waxed-mill-jacket which is pretty much what I was after…. So of course it’s out of stock in my size

I’ll take a peek at their offerings. Any other suggestions on similar brands?

Good discussion in here. Even if sticking with a typical nylon + DWR, any suggestions for more clean lines or traditional jacket styles? Here’s another one I found at Buck Mason: https://www.buckmason.com/products/ranger-green-shell-cloth-insulated-explorer-jacket?variant=41007707160659

Something like this? https://a.co/d/aI3WltR FWIW, I do already own a Patagonia Nano Puff (no hood). But when it’s actually raining, the jacket itself gets soaked. Yes, I stay dry but I can’t just shake it off or anything. Btw, I’m originally from a much cooler climate than the PNW. I have a lot of warm jackets but they’re great for snow, not for rain.

What about waxed jackets? I know of them, but I’ve never worn one before.

Well that’s all fine and good, but I want some retail therapy and to buy a sexy new jacket 😂

extremely bad razor burn, how to avoid it?
Second the hot towel/shower suggestions. I personally love getting a shave from a barber just for that reason alone. As a long time DE shaver, there’s usually a fair bit of discovery that needs to happen to find the best blades for your beard/skin. Additionally, a lot of the benefits of that traditional method stem from the prep & cream, not the razor itself. I use Proraso myself. Green, usually. You might give that a go over the can goop.
