What should my next suit be?
Hi everyone, I wear suits to work every day. I currently have a rotation of 6 suits. 2 Navy (1 each two-piece and three-piece), 2 Charcoal and 2 patterned (once again one each two- and three-piece). However, only one of the charcoals and one of the patterned suits are what I would consider high quality (suitsupply, canvassed). The two Navys are relatively old Hugo Boss suits that are 100% wool and fused, the second charcoal and the second patterned even have a little polyester blended in. Now I'm looking for another MTM business suit. This should be an "all season" suit (will buy a dedicated summer one in a few months) and I initially thought to go with Navy to have one nice Navy as well (I enjoy peak lapels). I'm blonde, have light eyes and relatively light skin though, so navy tends to look quite stark on me. Should I maybe go with a mid-grey or does overloading the wardrobe with greys look boring? Thanks! PS: Have everything about the suit already decided except the fabric (which is arguably the most important thing)

Second Suitsupply Suit. Is Tropical Wool okay for a business suit?
Hi all, I'm buying my second suitsupply MTM suit. My first suit was charcoal, my next one will be navy and replace one of the worse-fitting off the rack options I currently still have in rotation. The Charcoal one was with the "cheap" Reda fabric and I really like it. Now given I want to go for a similar style (single breasted, peak lapels, structured unpadded shoulder) I worry that if I go with the navy Reda again they look too similar. The VBC Twill and Sharkskin versions are €120 more, but the VBC "Navy Pure S120's Tropical Wool" is at the entry price point as well. Is a "tropical wool" fine for a business suit or would you go with the more expensive fabric? I was at SS today, but can't yet imagine a suit just from seeing a fabric sample. Thanks everyone!!

First Suitsupply MTM Suit
Hi Everyone, I'm about to buy my first MTM Suit at Suitsupply. I was initially planning on spending about €500 on an off-the-rack suit, but they didn't have what I was looking for so MTM at 528 gets me much closer to my goal. A couple questions: 1) How important is the weave? I initially wanted a sharkskin, but it seems the cheapest sharkskin is at 648 from VBC instead of the 528 for the Reda Twill 2) How important is the second pair of trousers? I always heard it should be something to take as well, but I've never worn out a suit pants and 200 extra is almost 40% of the entire suit so not sure if I need it. 3) How important is a waistcoat? Once again I've heard to take it just because you'd regret it afterwards. I already have 2 3-piece suits and I tend to wear them without waistcoat in most situations (still fairly junior in my company and a waistcoat always makes you look like you're trying a little too hard) 4) Any other things I should look out for that you guys have regretted in the past? Excited for it, thanks for your advice!
