Is this what DH should look like at 256 render distance?
You have to wait a pretty long time until all LODs are generated. See right there it says "World Gen Tasks: X/38952" all of those need to be generated before you can actually see stuff in the distance

Biome colors displaying inconsistently in LODS (2.0.1a / 1.20.1)
Either your quality preset in DH options is too low or your minecraft's render distance is, but I think its the first one
