First I would advise you not to rush and feel the mood. If nobody around you is wearing any kind of "dressier" shoes and you don't feel like yourself in these at this point, don't buy them. You do not want to stick out too much with clothes some stranger told you would be nice on the Internet while you did not fully agree + have to socialize a lot which requires you to be true to yourself and to others. Your clothing must be synced with your spirit so you feel at home anywhere, kind of. I personally think dark brown suede chukkas are a must once you start searching for a more mature look because they are extremely comfortable (easy 5-7km/day walks with these if good quality), classy yet never "too much". They pair well with almost every colour (jeans, khakis, grey wool, beige pants...) so you will inevitably be glad to have them in your closet at some point in the decade to come, hence my recommendation.

While I could not agree more with Jawna, I think you chose pretty neutral colours so you will probably actually use these. Overall I would recommand you not to try to reach the "checklist wardrobe" I.e "now im done with buying clothes and can focus on something else". Somehow, your clothing is a reflection of your taste and so will be evolving through times. You should always be aware of how you perceive what you own, and how satisfied you are with how you are dressed on a daily basis. Also, in my experience buying bundles of a same piece with declination of colours is not a good idea because it kills variety and fun. You end up looking the same everyday with a small tonal variation. You are probably not having an infinite budget at that point in life which is fine - through thrifting you may find many great pieces of clothing for cheap. My personal opinion over what you displayed is that it may look like very sportswear - which is expected considering your age and your previous wardrobe. I would heavily recommend you to get a nice white shirt and a classic pale blue button down denim shirt. In order to look effortlessly smarter you should definitely get yourself a pair of dark brown suede chukkas as they match with pretty much everything (dark jeans, chinos ; I do not currently like dark shoes with light jeans as it is way more "fashion" than stylish IMO) when you do not feel like a sneaker is proper for the mood. Finally, look for functionality : If you regularly feel like you miss a piece for something specific (eg : I never know what to wear when it is raining), then it is time for some action. Wish you the best in life and in your studies. Have fun !

I've bought tees and a hoodie from them. Its absurdly high quality and vintage look and feel. Its not a good price/quality ratio though, just aiming for the best quality currently available. very long lasting, does not lose shape after multiples (30+) machine washes. Sizes are pretty accurate for european standards (though they tend to lean onto the lower side) but you might have to upzise once or even twice for USA usual sizing. Garment measurements available on the website. In a word : highest end Japanese repro brand made by passionate ppl for passionate ppl
