odd small flat patches on suede coat - any solutions or just ignore them and move on?
It was just one of those moment of "this is my new favourite coat by a long way... oh wait I found this small flaw" haha. But I mean it was also dirt cheap so I really shouldn't complain

The texture is like smooth leather with a very light peach fuzz (if that makes sense) not what I would usually describe suede which to me is more rough feeling and completely matte

But whether that could be caused by something being spilled on it or something I don't know, it doesn't feel sticky or rough or anything it feels like leather. Just a little discoloured and shiny instead of velvety

It feels like it just... is part of the original material, but without the same surface finish

Now that I've looked more into it I'm more thinking it might be nubuck. Not sure how different that makes the cleaning process. I know they both have brushes but I wouldn't want to damage this. Unless the pictures have shown its definitely suede?

It doesn't feel like glue (unless you're talking about it being patches of leather glued into place to fill in holes or something?) They feel like the rest of the coat, they just look different (and don't have the velvety texture).
I can try and take better pictures I just didn't know what would be helpful

Are there any ways of restoring it? On suede I saw it might be possible with a wire brush but this seems more delicate than suede

Possible I guess but the rest of the coat looks brand new (never actually seen moth damage before in all my life lol)

I thought it was just brown leather at first, couldn't see the suede like velvety effect until I saw it in different light

Could be, it's a second hand coat (but other than those marks looks like it's never been worn). I wondered if it was a second, and so had those flaws from the factory as it were

Jeans/Trousers fit check - trying to find things that vaguely fit!
I was thinking of trying a 34 slim next just to see how that fitted. But yeh for leg length I'll be aiming for 29 or 30 from now on as that should be closer to my size.

There are two blues there (one straight one boot cut). The boot cut are oddly low on the hips I've realised. Between that and the length and flaring I think they'll be returned.
The browns I am quite liking I was just concerned they were too baggy. If they look fine then I'm happy with them.
The straight blues are indeed a big tight. Not sure why as they're the same size, must be a brand thing.
