That is the absolute best i can get it to work. The error that seems to be happening while waiting the 10 minutes that needs the game to be relaunched is "DistantHorizons-com.seibel.distanthorizons.core.file.AbstractDataSourceHandler DH-File Handler Thread[4] Error updating pos [{6*11,-33}], error: null java.lang.ArithmeticException" Which gets spammed in the logs with different pos coords.

DH LOD chunks not loading

Heres what ive determined to work with my system, dont know if its a one off issue or if an issue the devs will need to look at. But, load the chunks, sit in place for a bout 10 minutes, entirely relaunch the game. That starts rendering the LOD chunks. To get all of the LOD chunks your looking at, up the CPU Load, wait for another 10, then relaunch. Everything in front of you will then load in. Everything behind you will look like this:

also try reloading the game after upping CPU load, seems to fix it for me everythime but def not how the mod is intended to work

Try upping CPU load, in settings. I think by default it only uses 4 threads, your CPU could probably handle the full 8 of the max setting

Happening to me again lol. Loaded in about 3k chunks and set the cpu load to "I paid for the whole CPU" and now nothing... World is till functioning as normal just not loading in at at even after standing still for 10 mins. Loaded the game up with log output enabled and its just getting spammed with "DistantHorizons-com.seibel.distanthorizons.core.file.AbstractDataSourceHandler DH-File Handler Thread[4] Error updating pos [{6*11,-33}], error: null java.lang.ArithmeticException"

Try standing there for a bit then entierly reload the game. That seems to have fixed it for me. Almost like the game wasnt getting an update to start displaying the LOD chunks after they load
