Couple questions about building a home server
Hey everyone, looking to build a server.
12700k, z690A- Pro MB, 16 GB DDR4-3200
1. The above should be a very powerful server correct?
2. Servers primarily scale lineraly with single core performance? (I know many things are multithread, but the main generation and tick process happens single threaded right?)
3. Do RAM speed and SSD speed matter?
4. 16 GB should be plenty for a single server right? I can always upgrade in the future if it becomes an issue. I plan on doing modpacks with sub 10 players.
5. I own multicraft licenses. Has anything much better come out?
