Some friends can join and some can't
yeah it was just perplexing at the start when everyone could join except him. he must have opened and closed minecraft a dozen times while we were trying to figure this out

and after a while it says "player left the game"

it only gives the message that "player joined the game", then on his end its stuck on "joining world"

our best guess is that one of the mods we have is adding something to the world that he is unable to load. he tried to create a single player world and ran into the same issue. it gets stuck on "joining world"

its just a simple "connection timed out, no further information"
