wear pants, I know it's hot but in business setting even with business casual, you'd wear pants

metal wrist straps for the occassion would be fine, just don't even try the fake luxury watchfaces they look silly

most smartwatch come with those silicone straps that easily show wear and tear after months of use as it rubs on your skin (not too noticeable at distance and depending on color). at the same time they need to fit tight to function properly (e.g. for health tracking)
