personnaly i'm gonna use the compat layer with iris 1.6.1 use instancing while playing (f invisible windmill) and set it to off when i do need to see create stuff janky ? yes. but i go from 50 to 144fps (vsync)

the last version is compatible with iris 1.5 to 1.6.1 but on my machine it just disable the rendering of flywheel's entities
