it probably shouldn't turn the chainsaw red if i'm cutting down flora (also happens sometimes when cutting with no target)

Funnily enough I encountered the bug without having the sink unlocked (as I have begun a new save with various other mods like Structural Solutions and catwalk expansions)

I agree a separate mod for that would be great, but maybe some people wouldn't want the color of their equipment to be shiny

you have to let the chainsaw cut something down for it to occur, it doesn't happen if you cut air.
it also seems to be reseting when you cycle equipment

I have no idea if it's related or not because I have no way of reliably triggering it and it's very rare, making ruling what mods may cause it very difficult.

Depending on the buildable, it's likely hood can change. I have on occasion seen a different bug where I can look at a buildable and a section randomly deteches and I can move it around. It doesn't even have to be the interactive part that does this. (I've had the animated section of the smelter "run away" but the interactive hitbox remained normal)

i mean: the interactive hitbox would be seperate from the rest of the model maybe (seems to depend on the buildable)

@th3fanbus tape mods - volume control & spatial sound doesn't work?
A wild guess would be that there's some obscure/hidden checkbox within wwise that needs to be changed or something like that for starters.
Other than that, I have no idea.

vanilla tapes are fine, just not the modded tapes (i have only tested that one in the picture but the problem(s) are likely present on all other mod tapes)
