update, someone else logged in and its happening after they logged in as well. its not every user though as someone else had been online for some hours and nothing was happening i did also make sure they are all using the right version of the mod as well. but im stumpted on what the "permissions" issue would be, especially if its just some users and i have not touched anything regarding permissions for users on this mod either

i dont have luckperms on my server at all. is it possible thats something the player has on their client, thatd show up in my logs?

you want me to provide the entire sever log? its incredibly long from multiple days of being online. the portion i provided is the error that repeats and the server is not crashing or disconnecting when it does this. if i need to provide more from the log i think itd be better to specify what, like if i should upload the 'startup' portion?

sorry i just did a bit more trouble shooting and- looks like my server appears online with the public IP typed in to one of those server status websites, but i guess my sub domain doesnt seem to working with it, despite having changed the IPs. which explains my previous trouble with not being able to connect. If you know anything about setting up a custom sub domain let me know lol? tho i am pretty sure i did this all fine, just changed the old IP to the new ones...

considering i need to specifically check off 'reserve ip' on the spectrum app to port forward,m perhaps that is why it changed? it turned off the reserved ip when it factory reset...? idk.

actually scratch that-- the servers on the A record previously had the ips formatted like 111.22.333.444. but ig that doesnt matter much, it doesnt match anyways lol. still not entirely sure if i had the internal or public one put in there either way

okay so, i was checking my ip back to back with my sub domain A record bc thats the only place i would be able to know if it changed easily. and it does look to me like it changed... its been a hot minute since i did those (well like, a year) and i want to make sure i understand this right just so im not confused-- the system ipv4 is the minecraft server ip, yes? the system one is also different from the public one too? its what the A record needs and yeah... its not the same as my system or public ipv4. my records for the sub domains look to be using my system ivp4 ip and its def not the same one now. (the ip is formated like 111.222.1.333 just like my internal ip so.) however... i did just change my sub domain (for one server) to have the same ip i now have on my system and it still doesnt seem to be showing it as 'online' on any of those sites to check if a server is up

is static ip and 'reserved ip' the same or different? you say reserve and static so i wanted to make clarify there. when i port forward on the spectrum app and i tick it on it states 'reserve ip' and i assumed that was in fact the same as a static ip. but yes i did mix up your statement on what ip changes so.

ill def be checking the IP once i am back to my computer-- it seemed the same but ill have to check and compare it to the srv record n stuff for the sub domain as that would give me the answer on if it did actually change (not like i recall off the top of my head what it was lol). i did have a public ip that was static so, there is a chance it did change

i went through the process from the very start too just to make sure i didnt miss anything on the way and everything fit the requirements like before so im quite sure it should be alright

no, it doesnt look like my external/public IP fits those. and i did call support about port forwarding, which they did for me one their end to make sure, so i think they would have told me if that was the case right...? if that would stop port forwarding from happening at all?
