Unstable Server TPS with 5+ Players
I'm not a native English speaker. LLM is used for translation. Minecraft version: 1.21.1 Modloader: fabric 0.114.0 DH version: 2.3.0-b-RC3 Other mods: Servux, Spark, Chunky Client render distance = 128 We have a small server with 7 players. I used Chunky to pre-generate chunks with 1024 radius when I first started the server, and it has not been used since then. DH was deployed after that. I also pre-generated LODs with 256 radius using /dh pregen, and the server seems to work well at the beginning, when there were only 2 players in the server. However, as more players joined the server, it started to get a bit laggy. The TPS becomes unstable when there are more than 4 players online at the same time, and as long as one of them starts using elytra, the server becomes super laggy. I would accept this if I'm using a common personal computer for running DHS, but here's the hardware info of our server: Threadripper 7995WX 96cores 192threads, all cores running on 4.9GHz 64G*8 DDR5 memory 500Mbps dedicated symmetrical internet I can't think of a better server than this. I allocated 64 threads and 128GB memory on DH. The LODs are rendering perfectly, but the server is just...laggy... We tried disabling DH on client-side. It did work. The TPS remains 20 even when there are three players flying with elytra at the same time. Maybe it's because of the configuration? Or this mod just cannot support more than 5 players?
