Yea i own a couple pairs of Grammici's loose tapered pant...i just find that thick cotton material to be uncomfortable. It feels like i am wearing cardboard. It's also why i never was able to get behind the whole dickies/carhartt/carhatt wip craze. I might try Grammici's stretch shell pant, however.

Interesting - I had a pari of their regular oxfords years ago and don't remember them being that wide but this was several years back. In terms of syntethic, I just think the material is usually more flattering for my body type given the way it sits on my body - I am 6'2" and 150 lbs and have really skinny legs. For comparison, my favorite everyday pant I have been wearing are the Cookman Ripstop Chef Pants - they don't wrinkle, don't have that stiff 100% cotton feel as they are mostly synthetic, and are relaxed and roomy (I size up) to the point where it makes my legs look bigger than they are (which I want).
