Poly/Tech Trousers

I'm looking for a pair of relaxed trousers similar to the Universal Works Oxford Pant In Recycled Poly Tech (https://universalworks.co.uk/products/universal-works-oxford-pant-in-navy-recycled-poly-tech). I've seen them before in person and they are really nice - I just don't think I can justify the price tag. Essentially something relaxed in a synthetic material. Think parachute pants without the parachute shape or the drawstring at the hems. Here's a reference image from a similar trouser I have seen: -https://i.pinimg.com/564x/2b/b8/44/2bb84424f6b552fcc51dd98875bc2142.jpg I'm thinking the Stretch Shell Pant from Grammici? For reference I am in the U.S. and a size 32. Preferably would like something that came in Navy and a Khaki color. Thanks!

I think the oxford are way wider than the stretch shell ones as an fyi Whats the reason for wanting synthetic specifically? just in terms of suggesting options

Interesting - I had a pari of their regular oxfords years ago and don't remember them being that wide but this was several years back. In terms of syntethic, I just think the material is usually more flattering for my body type given the way it sits on my body - I am 6'2" and 150 lbs and have really skinny legs. For comparison, my favorite everyday pant I have been wearing are the Cookman Ripstop Chef Pants - they don't wrinkle, don't have that stiff 100% cotton feel as they are mostly synthetic, and are relaxed and roomy (I size up) to the point where it makes my legs look bigger than they are (which I want).

Have you checked out Grammici? The Kurt Trouser from Wax London could work too. I would suggest trying out natural matierals as well in similar fits, it will open up more choices, just be aware that they will take a few wears to settle in the way you like them to fit. Uniqlo has good choices to consider and a good way to try out another material. For reference I'm 6' and 140 lanky dude here.

exactly - it's the overall drape Yea i own a couple pairs of Grammici's loose tapered pant...i just find that thick cotton material to be uncomfortable. It feels like i am wearing cardboard. It's also why i never was able to get behind the whole dickies/carhartt/carhatt wip craze. I might try Grammici's stretch shell pant, however.

Gotcha. Have you tried slacks? That maybe a good alternative too, Both roomie and lighter in wieght normally.
