And what's weird is that I was able to print for about 10h with the new hot end, so it seems unlikely the model is different

I'm not sure. I bought the same exact hot end but the connector for the thermistor was different that's why i had the first problem. Maybe they changed the model since I bought the first about a year ago

Struggling with Rapido (v1). Not extruding unless temps are stupidly high.
Hey, I have the exact same problem on my V core 3, and even after switching the whole hot end assembly I still have the same issues, I think it comes from the extruder or it's motor skipping because it's teeth are too worn (in my case I've been printing for a few hundreds of hours). You've posted this a while ago so I'm hoping you found the solution yourself but just in case you haven't, that's how I fixed my printer
