they offer regular (5-7working days) and express (3-5 working days) shipping to the us. if you have the opportunity to "test" sizing and garmnets with a local stockist, that may be the way to go initially

How to find a suit when you are just a little guy?
if you live in a developed country there is a high chance that your city or the next bigger city has tailor services / chains that offer suits mtm (made to measure) - which is a step below bespoke, but should look better than pretaporter+tailor

John Smedley
To care for merino wool: 1. Machine Wash: 30 Celsius, 600 Spin/min cycle & a mild detergent. Avoid biological laundry detergents & detergents containing enzymes (protease) and / or bleach. 2. Dry Flat: Lay the garment flat on a clean towel to maintain its shape. 3. Storage: Store folded; don’t hang to prevent stretching. 4. Avoid Moths: Use cedar or mothballs in storage. 5. Avoid Heat: No hot water, high-heat dryers, or direct sunlight. 6. Stains: Blot, don't rub. Consult a professional for difficult stains. 7. Repair: Damaged (Merino) Wool knitwear can be repaired (without scars). Consult john smedley or a professional tailor. Remember, always check the care label as specific instructions can vary.
