Then it loads eventually but when I go back to where I was it’s like it forgot about those chunks and reloads them again

I just went into creative to test it, the chunks are dissapearing when im getting further away but I'm still not that far, Im on 256 LOD also

I'm new to using this, playing with a friend right now but how do I get the mod to start loading chunks earlier and farther away, I have it set to 400lod and I can restart it but it loads chunks slowly and only when I approach them, my normal render distance is set to 8
