VC4 IDEX 500 Bed Temp and Mesh variation
So been working on getting my bed flat and after tweaking legs and tapping the arms the rails ride on, resuqaring and then noting the bed was bent itself, I have finally got my mesh to .147mm variance. However that was with the bed cold (25c), afgter heating the bed during the PID tuning I remeasured the mesh and with a hot bed (50c) I'm looking at a .407mm bed variance. Is this much of a difference to be expected shoudl i spend more time trying to tune with a hot/warm bed?

If you have a 500mm machine you are experiencing what we all experience. The gantry is bowing when it gets hot. Your mesh is fine. As long as you have the beacon on and you heat soak the printer prior to printing, you will lay down near perfect first layers. I fought this issue for 2 months before someone here helped me.
