Troubles Importing Server LODs
Good Afternoon,
I'm moving my LOD's over to a friend to join my server with.
Overworld:
We place the .sqlite into
.minecraft/Distant_Horizons_server_data/SERVER_NAME/
, but DH doesn't display or load any LOD's when friend is in the server. I sat at his desktop, and ensured he's using my exact modpack, with all settings preserved.
Sometimes in either one of our folders, there is also a .sqlite-shm and a .sqlite-wal - are these relevant? They are deleted when I quit the world it seems.11 Replies
I should note: the entire world was pregenerated with chunky, followed by a full pregen of all LOD's of preexisting-chunks only, within a set worldborder.
His DH isn't overriting or creating a new .sql - but seems to not be reading the provided one.
Make sure distant generation is on?
DH does begin loading LOD's if I remove the .sqlite
yes, DH gen is on
Maybe post the client log from the machine where it doesn't work
Are those smaller files needed? what's the story with those? they seem to exist, then not exist...
They are temporary files used by SQLite. Don't worry about them
Client Latest Log: https://mclo.gs/FT1d365
[19:49:12] [DH-PriorityTaskPicker Thread[1]/ERROR]: Unexpected Query error: [[SQLITE_CORRUPT] The database disk image is malformed (database disk image is malformed)], for prepared statement: [DELETE FROM FullData WHERE DetailLevel = ? AND PosX = ? AND PosZ = ?
parameters=[2, -4, -9]].
Looks like the .sql is corrupt? Maybe something happened when I uploaded it into google drive... I did check to see it was the exact same size down to the kb
also on a side note, I did notice that the folders under /worldname/ that house the lods were generated as having the same name as mine.
Does this mean I could potentially have a player import the lods and their respective folders prior to even joining the respective dimensions? Folder in question: 6jpj320kgeus6@minecraft@@overworld
This usually happens when you're either copy not all 3 files when they're there, or copying from a running server. Delete corrupt files and copy again after turning off the server.
It was a corrupted file due to an unstable Google Drive download. I used a trick I found online to ensure a steady download, and deleted the 2 temp smaller files, working great now!
