Tall "skyscrapers "
These skyscraper like chunks appearing as I move towards the lods, if I go into the chunk it dissapears, look up though and you can see it, what's causing this? Game breaking. It's not the "cottage cheese" or whatever that issue is, didn't use chunky, just DH to generate 700

This is 100% a new nightly bug. Getting the same issue

Once these lods have appeared are they not repairable?
I went back to previous version now the lods arr not really loading
I'll need reproduction steps in order to diagnose and fix the problem.
I haven't found a specific instance that causes this, but I removed the mod off of my server but not my client and they haven't appeared that way. I also know it appears regardless of detail settings that I've tested. Not reinstalling on the server quite yet but I'll do some more testing there to make sure they don't re-appear and some testing in singleplayer to see if they happen there.

A lot of them are like this where it seems like the LOD data for the chunk is shifted up
I switched off my texture pack and changed my render distance while sitting near that chunk and it actually got repaired. Here are some more examples rendering LOD data only with 6 chunk render distance. Some of these fixed themselves once within vanilla render distance but others still were bugged.
All of these are from my server, which now has distant horizons removed. All of these existed before the mod was removed from the server and still exist.

Although I wouldn't expect that to cause chunks to be offset, I'd expect that to cause monoliths like the top screenshots in this post.I simply removed the jars of old version and put in the new nighties
Then loaded my server, went into game
Started traversing the world and seen tje giant monoliths
Do.you need any logs or anything?
Ngl, I'd want to fix the issue and stop.it appearing in tje future but I'd want to keep those actual physical monoliths you've got!
I'll try to look at them later today
Dunno if I should play on the server world at the moment if I risk knackering it
I reverted to previous nightly and they're still there
