Octopus V1.1 detected but is unresponsive.
Hello everyone, I'm having an issue setting up my printer, any help would be greatly appreciated.
I've tried flashing my board multiple times through DFU and SD card but keep getting stuck at the same screen. I've read the other posts with the same issue and tried what was suggested but it hasn't helped.
Just to get it out the way:
- I do have internet connection to the board and am not connected to the ad-hoc network.
- I removed the jumper from BOOT0 and the jumper that supplies power from the PI to the board
- There is nothing connected to the board except for the usb cable and power from my PSU.
- I used the STM32 cube programmer to re-install the bootloader.
- I even purchased another board to try and still having the issue.
My ratos-configurator version is: v0.0.0-67-gc5b78c02-inferred

Do you set the BOOT jumper, press reset, after remove the jumper press flash button?
no but i just tried that exact order of operation and still getting the same error
I had this issue i wasnt selecting the correct octopus board personally clicked pro when its not a pro in the kit
i double checked, and i'm def checking the correct board. thanks for trying to help though
Today, I encountered that problem, and the solution was to manually create a firmware.bin and flash it with STM32Cube software. After that, it could be detected and flashed via DFU. Why is that? I have no idea, but that's how I got it to work.
hmm, that is interesting. i will try that when i get back home. thanks
I solved this flashing the bootloader again on the board.
Seems like it gets somehow mangled.
Check BTT github for the file and instructions.
After doing it, everything works as intended
yea i tried that too, still same issue. even bought a new board to test and still same issue
