If you made a purchase over the past few weeks or months, how do you feel about that purchase now? Did you end up flipping it, end up liking it more than expected, or something else?

Big coat 10/10 no notes its great
Finally got on the orange tab 505 train and they’ve been my most worn pair of pants for the past month lol
just bought some jeans I thought would be massive and they are merely big :hawyee:
Big wool cargo slacks are working out so I’m happy
love the FBI shirt and i wear it all the time but the tank top i dont think ive worm once yet!! i thought i'd get some mileage out of it as a layering piece, maybe i just need to actively trying it on and see where it works best
damn i went to a rave on saturday and that wouldve been the perfect place for that tank top
i just got a pair of lined jeans and everything in my brain is saying “you just HAD to pick the ugliest denim known to man huh” because they look like this
and i’m STILL debating if i should’ve just gotten a 34/30 instead of a 33/30 even if i would’ve had to wear a belt the whole time
but there were no other washes for those lined jeans
so i don’t even know what to tell my brain
(i did finally get a belt so i COULD do the 34/30, it’s just also a very plain brown belt and it makes my brain scream when combined with that particular wash)
is denim that looks mottled/dappled like that a bad sign?

I ought to get a lighter wash jeans because thats really missing in my trouser lineup
I also gravitate towards darker pants I guess
Bought quite a bit of new stuff recently that I really like, but I'm regretting the Bronson tubular shirt I got. Arms holes are in a weird place for me

Lets see if I actually manage to wear them with any kind of regularity

Thats a shame, I absolutely love mine but sometimes stuff just fits wrongly
Yeah, it's definitely a great shirt, just not the cut for my body. Gonna stick with uniqlo for heavy tees for now I guess

it's suddenly cold as shit but otherwise i'd be wearing them constantly lol

made a couple purchases in the last few months
red wing moc toes in oro - 10/10. I've been using some briar oil slicks for the last decade that I bought in D width because of a sale. My feet are EE at least. Love them, they're my motorcycle boots and casual when i'm not wearing cowboy boots.
abercrombie & fitch vintage crop tees - 7/10. They're heavyweight which is nice but they fit extremely boxy. I shrunk them because they didn't feel cropped enough but now the sleeves kinda suck.
18kt 22" 3mm gold rope chain from Jacoje - 10/10. Had been wanting a chain for a while but always thought it'd look bad on me or was too "blingy", finally decided to get one. matches my nose and ear piercings very well and since i wear it tucked it's nice and subtle.
really want to bite the bullet and get a vintage detroit jacket but texas heat makes it a dumb ass decision since i've already got plenty of nice outerwear i don't get to wear enough

I have the matching pants (same color) and want to have a "set" for at least once in my adult life
I'd say the worst purchase I've made has to be this spider Polo from PRL.
I thought it looked interesting at the time

I have never been able to find a decent style for this.
There’s so much cheap used PRL online, I don’t think it’s pertinent to buy it just for the brand
Bought a rowenta iron and bartinelli ironing board, really glad I took the plunge. I justified the purchases as an expense for my sewing practice, and they are game changing tools for that, but i also have felt extremely happy to be able to iron my clothes, makes me feel like i’m doing advanced dressing, and it’s gratifying to deepen my relationship to my clothes this way.

I got a fair bit of PRL last month. I think seeing the abundance of second hand stuff online just led me to buy stuff like the spider polo.
Just looking through my last three purchases
- black leather side zip boots, I'm not sure how I got by without these before. I needed a silhouette like these to pair with a lot of the pants I have, so it was a great piece to make my wardrobe make more sense. I do wonder what it would be Iike with a taller heel but maybe I'm too much of a pragmatist about shoes because I walk a ton
- tiny little suede shoes. These make me psychologically uncomfortable in a way I'm trying to push past. I really like the idea of big pants tiny shoes though but haven't worn them as much as I would like. Need to keep at it I think. They were cheap fwiw
- belted jeans. These had to go for some alterations but I'm digging these still. They have amazing drape honestly and I like the full break

The only complaint I have is the bottom of the armhole is attached too low so it pulls the jacket up when I raise my arms.
