What is your favorite sock style? No-show, ankle, crew socks? What brands do you keep going back to or recommend? (Please no feet pics!)

I usually wear crew for everything (varying thickness). And I can absolutely recommend Corgi Socks for pretty much anything. I get a few pairs for their Black Friday sale, whenever I need to replenish.

Toe socks like Injinji are really good for hiking and long running if you get blisters.
Darn Tough boot socks are goated for general purpose boot socks, otherwise like, whatever crew socks.

I'm enjoying Point6 merino socks. They have lifetime warranties like Darn Tough and Bombas.

I just have some generic hiking socks for boot stuff
My old costco merino hikers are so comfy and fuzzy and 7-8 years old at this point. The ones they currently sell are different though, and I haven't tried them.
I like ankle socks but almost exclusively wear crew socks now. No exclusive brands but I almost always buy white ones because they go with everything I own including Birkenstocks
Got my first pair of Bombas wool just a few weeks ago and absolutely love them. More comfortable and stylish than my Darn Tough pair. I'm also surprisingly happy with Tie Bar despite them obviously being much more cheaply made. They definitemy won't last forever, but are very comfy, look good, seem to have more durability than I'd expect for their price point, and have some interesting patterns (something Darn Tough/Bombas/etc fall short on).
I was once a “buy all the same socks to make your life easier” person, but that is not fun.
Also thrifting socks is contentious to some, but Im gonna come right out and say it, folks: I thrift socks and I don’t care!

toe socks 😎
No more blisters between my toes from runs, and my feet don't get as hot/sweaty (think of mitts vs. gloves) it really makes a difference despite how weird it may be

I think I'm at like half crew, half ankle socks. Occasionally a no-show if I accidentally steal my partner's. Once again, uniqlo has some great colors even if they're thin.
