I had an old pair of Uniqlo selvedge that I wasn’t going to get any more wear out of - too similar to other jeans I’d since got.
Decided to bleach them a lighter shade and now I wear them all the time.
So in that sense, denim is cool 😎

I've always wanted to try repairs myself.
But now I live near a self edge and they do it pretty cheap
I fucking WISH I lived closer to someone who'd do repairs in this genre, but I'm probably gonna do it myself next time, when my Iron Hearts need it

started off as indigo with black weft . I just washed a ton over several years
so not exactly black just very dark blue

In general I think denim has always been my most worn and most owned fabric. At a certain point I owned like 14 pairs of vintage wranglers in various states of disrepair :xd:
I have cut down to a lowly 3
i have had a loooot of denim over the years
except all the denim i have right now is skinny jeans
and i need a wider cut
and also a vest and a jacket
Jeans are great. Denim shirts are great too.
Swore off denim in favor of casual tailoring for 5ish years or so.
In 2022 I bought a pair of raw denim and fell completely back in love. Lots of amazing choices for all budgets right now and finally the raw denim companies are catching onto wider fits. Just hard to beat denim for its durability and character as you really wear them in

The issue I have with denim is that there are infinite variations and its easy to fall into a denim hole
and end up with far too many
Stuff from Toast does pop up here and there on vinted uk, so there's a chance it shows up on ebay or something
Then only take left to have about denim is that grey is cursed and evil but faded black is elegant and pure
